Auditorium

Auditorium seating is on two levels: the stalls and the balcony. The stalls are level and the balcony is on a slope. Access to the balcony is via stairs (there is no lift). In general, the auditorium opens 30 minutes before a show.

Bar

Alcoholic drinks, including Isle of Wight beers, tea and coffee are available in the downstairs bar, accessed via steps from the Box Office corridor, allowing theatregoers to relax before a show and avoid any rush to get to the Theatre on time. The bar normally opens one hour before a show starts.

Historical Map Room

When visiting the bar, don’t forget to see the adjacent historical Map Room, which was a local command and control centre during WW2 and is decorated with memorabilia from that time. Additional bar seating is available in the Map Room.

Sweetshop

In the foyer you will find an English heritage listed structure – the sweetshop, which was formerly the Theatre Box Office. It opens before shows and during show intervals for those hard to resist treats.
