Friends Treasurer

The Friends of Shanklin Theatre (FOST) are an increasing group of supporters from the Isle of Wight and beyond who have the best interests of Shanklin Theatre at heart.

Important activities carried out by the Friends include promoting the Theatre and the Friends itself as Friends members enjoy various benefits as part of their membership.

The Friends are now looking to recruit a new Treasurer as the current Treasurer has decided to stand down. He will remain in post, however, to ensure a smooth handover.

Friends Treasurer

The Friends Treasurer is responsible for managing the financial aspects of the Friends, including day-to-day running of the Friends bank account. This will require liaison with relevant volunteer teams around the Theatre, including the Prize Draw, Promotion and Catering Teams. The Treasurer is also a member of the Friends Executive Committee and will be supplied with a laptop to enable working from home.

Experience with using Sage, or similar accounting software is preferred.
