The Band of HM Royal Marines (The Royal Band)
Don’t miss the opportunity to witness the World Class musicians of The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Portsmouth (The Royal Band) performing a spectacular show in their first concert on the Island for several years. The show will include music from their latest CD commemorating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee as well as a flag-waving Last Night of the Proms finale. You will see the precision skills of the fabulous Corps of Drums playing classic marches and a spectacular rendition of everyone’s favourite, Riverdance. The Royal Marines Band will be joined by the Medina Community Choir for this not to be missed evening on one of the final concerts by the Band under the direction of their current Director of Music, Major Tony Smallwood.
